Contracts

At CoreStar Global, we offer a range of contractual agreements tailored to meet diverse client needs, including service agreements, maintenance contracts, and licensing arrangements. Our contract process is flexible and customized, taking into account specific client requirements and regional differences.

For instance, in the U.S., public schools typically operate on net 30 terms, while private entities and international clients may require full payment upfront. We also build in a 3% failure rate for devices, with an option for additional spares to minimize downtime. Our contracts may vary by country and client type, with details finalized through direct consultation. For those interested in long-term agreements, we provide quantity discounts and are open to discussing contract extensions and renewals based on individual needs. For precise contract terms and conditions, or to start a contract with us, please contact us directly.

Egypt

Working in concert with our strategic in-country partner, Corestar continues to provide devices and mobile computer carts to public and private K-12 schools and top-tier universities. We continue to create scalable solutions based on budget, grade level, and software needs for institutions throughout the country.

Jordan

After an invitation to participate in the Jordan Education Initiative Discovery Schools, mobile computer labs and devices were piloted as an easier, more energy efficient alternative to dedicated computer labs. Oftentimes, infrastructure can be a challenge with traditional power-hungry, space-taking computers. Touch screen tablets and sleeker, smaller laptops have a more palatable price-point and up to 40 devices can be secured, stored, and charged in one mobile computer cart.

Senegal

In partnership with the Academy for Education Development (AED), a product mix incorporating solar power and supplemental batteries for devices was deployed in nine rural regions of Senegal. Sidekick batteries paired with semi-rugged devices gave students enough battery power all school day regardless of infrastructure barriers like power blackouts. Semi-rugged devices withstand dirt, dust, and drops from up to three feet. Upgraded casters on the mobile carts allowed administrators to transport devices across difficult terrain.

Macedonia

In another venture with Academy for Education Development, as part of a 5-year, 16.4 million dollar initiative to modernize technology throughout nine Eastern Europe, rugged devices, mobile carts, and external device batteries were supplied to schools throughout the region. Macedonia became a European Union Candidate in 2005 and this USAID-funded project aimed to support former Eastern bloc countries focused on decentralization.

Puerto Rico

To meet the environmental, security, and power demands a turnkey, rugged mobile cart was designed for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Complete with a builtin lithium-ion battery bay drawer, secure anodized aluminum roll door, and 8 inch rubber casters, these mobile labs–along with rugged devices–were deployed into over 1,200 schools across the island. As part of the CENIT pilot programs, the Department of Education successfully expanded and upgraded wireless capabilities for students across the territory. This custom, all-in-one solution became the sole hardware bundle for all schools within the DOE.
